Terms of use
These are the plain conditions on which this site is published and on which the small services described here are provided. They are written to be read once and understood, not to protect anyone from the consequences of their own words.
Who publishes this site
The site is published by a private individual in Dubai. It is not a company, not a dealership, not a broker and not an agent for anyone who sells vehicles. Nothing on these pages should be read as an offer to sell a car or as an introduction to someone who does.
Contact details, opening hours and the office address appear on the contact page. Questions about anything written here can be raised by telephone during opening hours or through the form, and are answered by the same person who wrote the pages.
What the guidance is and is not
Everything published here is general guidance based on personal experience of attending exhibitions, lawn events and preview evenings in the Emirates. It describes how these events are usually organised and how cars usually behave in this climate. It is not professional advice about any individual vehicle, purchase or contract.
Venues change their layouts and their arrangements, organisers change their rules, and individual cars differ from one another in ways no general description can capture. Anything that materially affects a decision should be confirmed with the venue, the organiser or a qualified specialist before you rely on it.
Using the content of these pages
The text and the photographs on this site belong to the person who publishes it. You are welcome to read the pages, print them for your own use and share a link with anyone. You may quote a short passage with a clear reference back to the page it came from.
Republishing whole guides elsewhere, rewriting them under another name or using the text to train a commercial system is not permitted without written agreement. Requests of that kind are usually answered positively when asked politely in advance.
Booking a session or a walk
A booking exists only when it has been confirmed in writing by both sides. The written outline you receive states what is covered, what it costs in dirhams, what is excluded and how long it takes. Prices shown on the services page are indicative and are always confirmed before anything is arranged.
Venue entry tickets, parking charges, refreshments and anything bought at an event are not included unless the description says so explicitly. Where a session takes place at a venue, entry remains your own arrangement and is subject to the venue's own conditions.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
If you cancel with at least two full days' notice, anything paid is returned in full. With shorter notice, a proportion may be retained where a place has been held or a venue commitment already made. If a session is cancelled or shortened by us for any reason, everything paid for it is returned without argument.
Events are occasionally postponed or reorganised by their organisers, and heat, weather or venue decisions can alter an outdoor morning at short notice. In those cases the session is moved to another date by agreement, or refunded in full if no suitable date can be found.
Behaviour at events
At any event attended together, the rules of the venue and the organiser apply and take priority over anything arranged here. Cars are never touched, photographs are taken without obstructing others, and instructions from venue staff are followed immediately and without discussion.
Participation may be ended at any point, without refund, if someone's behaviour puts a vehicle, a member of staff or another visitor at risk. This has never been necessary and the sentence exists only so that the position is clear in advance.
Responsibility and its limits
Reasonable care is taken to keep everything on this site accurate and to run sessions safely and considerately. No responsibility is accepted for decisions taken about buying, hiring or selling a vehicle, for the condition of any particular car, or for the acts of venues, organisers, showrooms and other independent parties.
You remain responsible for your own health, your own belongings and your own driving at all times, including on any journey to or from an event. Nothing in these terms restricts any right you hold under the applicable law of the Emirates, which governs these conditions and any question arising from them.
